Yann Périn is a researcher at GRS (Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit gGmbH), Germany's leading technical safety organization for nuclear facilities. He joined GRS in 2008 and earned his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2016. He is the chief expert in light water reactor (LWR) core behavior and currently serves as the coordinator of the European EVEREST consortium.
