Uwe is now working at Framatome GmbH as Technical Chief Advisor for Nuclear Facilities. Prior to that, he was the managing director of GRS, the German TSO of the Federal Government for 8 years. During this time, he also served as president of ENSREG for 5 years. Before that, he worked for 25 years at Framatome and its predecessor companies in various functions. He started as a calculation engineer, was then responsible for the commissioning of a NPP in Brazil and finally headed the Engineering & Projects department in AREVA Germany. Uwe is a member of the International Nuclear Safety Advisory Group (INSAG) of the IAEA and the German Reactor Safety Commission.
