Roman Romanowski

Westinghouse Electric Company, USA

Roman Romanowski is Vice President of Energy Systems at Westinghouse Electric Company, leading business development across the EMEA region. While his career spans various energy sectors, his most recent and primary focus is on nuclear energy, driving deployment of Westinghouse's AP1000® reactors, AP300™ small modular reactors. He is actively engaged in advancing nuclear projects that enhance energy security and decarbonization efforts. He is also deeply involved in advancing long-duration energy storage (LDES) technology, supporting the integration of renewables, and enhancing grid stability as part of evolving energy landscape.

Before joining Westinghouse, Romanowski held senior positions in sales and business development at GE Power and GE Renewable Energy’s Offshore Wind division. His career also includes strategic roles at Alstom Power, where he led sales and commercial initiatives for Industrial Steam Turbines and Environmental Control Systems EPC energy projects.

With over two decades in energy industry, Romanowski has played a key role in advancing innovative energy solutions within his organizations. His expertise spans energy policy, market development, investment structuring and advanced clean energy technologies, with a strong focus on next-generation nuclear, energy security and integration of energy storage.

Romanowski holds a degree in Economics and Management from Nicolai Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, and a postgraduate diploma from the Warsaw School of Economics.
