Prof. Jeong-Ha You joined Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in 1999. Since 2014, Dr. You has been leading the work package ‘Divertor’ of EUROfusion Consortium as project leader, where the efforts cover conceptual design and technology R&D for the divertors of DEMO, W7X, JT60-SA, and DTT. In his project team, roughly 80 experts from 15 European laboratories, 15 university groups and several industry partners are involved. He is also serving as adjunct professor in the physics department of Ulm University since his habilitation in physics.

Dr. You was educated at Seoul National Univ. (BSc/MSc in metallurgy) and RWTH Aachen (PhD in mechanical engineering) in Germany and trained as postdoc at Research Center Jülich and RWTH Aachen.
