Vice President at Westinghouse Energy Systems

Roman Romanowski is Vice President at Energy Systems at Westinghouse Electric Company. In this role, he leads the business development in EMEA for Westinghouse AP1000® reactors, AP300™ small modular reactors and eVinci™ micro reactors as well as other non-nuclear energy systems.

Prior to Westinghouse, Roman was Sales Leader at GE Renewable Energy Offshore Wind responsible for driving strategic partnerships and business growth through development, co-development and innovative commercial and financing solutions, capacity agreements as well as pursuing localization strategy. Earlier in his career, he worked for multiple GE and Alstom power businesses where he was responsible for leading business development and commercial activities in Poland and CEE countries.

Roman has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector and knowledge in business management, strategic thinking, relationship building, market analysis, business development and management of new energy projects, gained in senior management positions at ABB, Alstom and General Electric.

He is a graduate of the Economics and Management at Nicolai Copernicus University in Torun. He obtained a Diploma in Management from Warsaw School of Economics postgraduate studies.
