Leon Cizelj, Slovenia
President of the European Nuclear Society (ENS)
Leon Cizelj currently works as a head of Reactor Engineering Division at Jožef Stefan Institute and as a professor of Nuclear Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Leon is an associate member of the Engineering Academy of Slovenia and president of the European Nuclear Society (ENS).
Leon received Ph.D. in physics at Nuclear Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at University of Ljubljana and has since worked in the field. His main interests are nuclear engineering and safety (ageing of safety related structures), communication of science and nuclear engineering education.
