The Alpha Section of the Nuclear Society of Slovenia is an association of experts from Slovenia working professionally in the nuclear or radiation field.
The Section includes over 30 experts from all Slovenian institutions working with nuclear safety and the safe use of ionizing radiation sources. The Section is also open to experts working in these fields in institutions outside Slovenia, such as the European Commission. The Section was established in March 2003 in Ljubljana.
